Enjoy your stay! - Ashley & Jenny
We hope your 2018 has been great for you as it has been for us, especially since the 2018 Olympic Games are underway.
We know that its been a year since our last post, but life has thrown a few curveball at us and they needed to be taken care of. But have no fear, we were still tweeting/cheering on Nathan when we have the chance even if its not reflected here on the fansite.
As for me (Ashley), I've started piloting my thesis for grad school and thats been going well so far! Trying to push people through their sessions so I can run stats and be able to present my findings at a national conference this summer. Other than that I've just been writing papers for school and studying as well. I'm nearing the end of program! I've started looking into Phd programs, but still haven't decided what I would want to do if I get into a program. The future is bright.
As 2018 continues on, lets continue to cheer on Nathan for another year!
If you read this, thank you for being a fan of Nathan and interested in a life update from me.
We are well over a week into the New Year, but it still is not too late to wish you all a Happy New Year! We hope everyone's holiday season went well, even though now is the time for everyone to head back to work or school (both of us included).
First, we both want to apologize for not keeping up with this site and our Twitter account, espeically after the Olympic games. I (Ashley) started my master's program at CSUF (Go Titans!) this past fall, and Jenny has been really busy with work lately. Rest assure though, we are still trying our best to be your #1 Source for anything Nathan Adrian!
Second, THANK YOU! For all you (our readers and friends) for following and talking to us since launched back in 2012!. It's been four years since we started this site and supported Nathan, but we wouldn't change it for anything. We both learned a lot about the sport of swimming since then, especially for me (since I have an idea to do something with swimming for my thesis project)! Thank you for being patient with us lately, we noticed that we are slow on the news, and also for letting us know what's going on in the sport of swimming! Without your help, we'd have a hard time keeping track.
I hope everyone's 2017 will be their greatest yet. Don't forget that you are in control of your own life. Take a chance this year. Apply for the job/internship you've been thinking about. Travel to a new place. Whatever you do, make sure you're happy with where you are and the choice you make.
